We are now in one of the most important yearly seasons of the church, the season of Lent. Lent is a time to prepare your heart for a renewed experience with Jesus. It is a time to remember that we are totally dependent on the mercy of God through Jesus, a time to repent to make sure Jesus is on the throne of your heart. Lent begins with Ash Wednesday and culminates with Good Friday and Easter. On Good Friday we focus on how Jesus suffered and died on our behalf; Jesus said that no one will take his life, but that he is laying it down (John 10:18). On Easter we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection, His victory over death; because Jesus conquered death, those who have faith in Him will also rise again. God bless you!

Also, Throughout Lent there will be a time of nightly reading of the Psalms. Join us on Zoom beginning at 9:30 PM, and participate in reading through the Psalms for about 25 minutes each evening, or join us just to listen. Subscribe to our email newsletter, “Through the Grapevine”, to access the link to the Zoom meeting for Psalm reading. You can subscribe to our email newsletter by clicking Here.
