Coming Items of Interest

This Christmas we would like to bless kids and families in our communities in a tangible way. There is an opportunity to purchase and deliver Christmas Gifts to families in Elgin, Carpentersville and Aurora. FVCA will register children in our communities to receive gifts and compile a wish-list for each child. We will provide volunteers with Volunteers will be asked to purchase the gifts, wrap, and deliver to the child’s home by Dec 12th. Gifts are not expected to exceed $25 per child. We will collect these gifts at Trinity and then deliver them to FCVA. Click here to send a message that you would like to participate.

We have a big Alpha event starting January 25th. We would like everyone to participate. We would also like everyone to bring a friend. Joseph Onesimus will be leading this, with some assistance from Ed Rak. Click here for more information about Alpha.

To observe Advent this year, Trinity Vineyard will have a brief gathering online on weekdays at 9pm until Christmas Eve. We will read Psalms and some Scriptures relating to Christmas. If you want to participate, but don’t already have the link, use our online form to Contact Us.

We are sending Bibles for kids (for Christmas) in a poor colonoia near Reynosa Mexico. Thanks to Henry for spearheading this effort!

Covid has reminded us about the fragility of life. While we have breath, let’s live for Jesus. Remember what the Apostle Paul said in Collosians 3:1-4 as he addressed followers of Jesus: “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”
